Meet our March Person of the Month– Jason Bellet! Jason is a third year Business major and Theater, Dance, and Production Studies minor who has been involved with ASUC Perspectives either as a director or as an adviser. He is also a current ASUC Senator who, drawing from experience with Perspectives, wants to create a more collaborative and representative environment within the ASUC.

Meet Daniel Tuchler, a third year Political Science and Rhetoric double major and President of the Cal Berkeley Democrats. Daniel discusses his reactions to the national, state and local elections as well as his hopes for Obama’s second term. Daniel also tells of his notable experiences with politics in both Washington D.C. and Berkeley. Another highlight of the video: a special appearance from Super Obama!

Meet Rebecca Peters-a 4th year Society & Environment and International Development & Economics major as well as a Global Poverty and Practice minor. Rebecca has many amazing accomplishments focused on the issues of water policy, provision, and access. Just to name a few achievements, Rebecca is President of the Berkeley Water Group, co-founded and facilitates an original DeCal called Water and International Human Rights, and has traveled to countries across Latin America and Europe working on water collaboration.

Meet our February Person of the Month- Radhika Parashar! Radhika is a fourth year English and South Asian Studies double major who has performed the Vagina Monologues in both Berkeley AND Ireland! Besides inspiring others through her Monologues performances, Radhika is also very involved with social justice issues.
