While YouTube has earned its infamy for drowsy babies and musical cat videos, video makers have slowly whittled their ways into classrooms on different educational platforms.
For your scholastic needs, there’s Hank and John Green’s web series Crash Course, which can help any student cram for exams on topics ranging from the fundamental laws of chemistry to the origins of Thanksgiving.
But most college students aren’t interested in learning what they can hear from professors in lecture halls. Unless you’re completely in the know about the elusive world of penis and vagina, I recommend you take a look at Laci Green’s show, Sex+.
Laci Green, graduate of UC Berkeley class of 2011, began hosting and producing her online show, Sex+, in 2010. She claims to have been interested in the idea of sexuality from a very young age, and eventually became the facilitator of the female sexuality course on campus.
Have you ever had an embarrassing question or concern about what’s going on down there? One that’s too embarrassing to even type into Google? Well, that’s what Laci Green specializes in. Laci’s videos can hold a bit of shock value to those of us who are used to the vague language and descriptions of high school sex-ed classes, but she offers true, scientific facts that put a lot of society-based sex myths to bed.
Green’s channel has everything from bad date advice to sex toy stigmas, making sure you stay clean, safe, and educated (because nothing takes the sexy out of sexy time like an awkward infection).
Laci is also a host for the DNews network in association with Discovery Channel and has just finished up a college tour where she tackled everything from relationship types to ending rape culture.
