Relaxation Yoga Techniques for Post-Spring Break Blues

by on Apr, 03 2013

Returning to a hectic schedule after a week of relaxation and fun can be very difficult and stressful. Try to stay cool and relax with yoga and mediation. Taking a step back will allow you to keep a healthy perspective. Enjoy the moment and don’t let future tasks and tests weigh you down!

So do your sanity a favor and replace your stress routine with this refreshing yoga sequence. Yoga’s emphasis on the present moment will bolster your focus during class, and it will help you muster up enough zen to get over it when that assignment comes back with a less-than-pleasing grade.

  1. I find I always get super-tense when I come back from vacation. Not so easy to jump right back into work, plus the fact that the work is usually backed up by then, making things all the more, well, tense. (Is there a limit to how many times one can use ‘tense’ in a sentence? It just really says it all…)

Yoga in general is my go-to for de-stressing and the wife and kids rarely laugh at me while I’m doing it, which is a plus.
