The grassy areas and cement walkway in front of Sproul Plaza are bustling with students celebrating the end of another long week.
Some are carrying magazine clippings, some are covered in temporary tattoos.
All of them are waiting for Dirty Dishes or Shamir to start playing.
There’s a row of wooden boards down the walkway where student art is displayed.
Everything from sketches to journal entries are posted, and the art is killer.
Back on the grass, a couple tables have been set up where people can make their own pins or zines from fashion magazines and newspaper articles. There’s even a photo booth by Sather Gate.
As the sun slowly inches away, I kick back and watch the concert from the grass, bundled under borrowed jackets.
