We are inviting all Berkeley students to the opportunity of being published and becoming the faces of Caliber Magazine. We are constantly searching for new faces to be featured on our cover, in our editorials, and in our magazine spreads. What are we looking for?

Contrary to what some might think, we do not prioritize a slim figure and overwhelming height. The five characteristics we look for in models are:

1) Ability to present themselves as confident and well-poised individuals.
2) Representation of a well rounded and authentic Berkeley student.
3) Aesthetic appeal in general, meaning desirable facial and body features.
4) Exciting, motivated, and positive personality.
5) Most importantly, willingness to go along with the proposed photo shoot theme, in terms of attitude, wardrobe, sense of fashion and style.

What is expected of models?

Showing up on time to our interviews, auditions and any other meetings and staying at the designated photo shoots until all the work is completed.

How does this work?

First, fill out the application below in its entirety. This automatically adds you to our extensive database of models. When a modeling opportunity arises, usually a handful of times per semester, our photographers and editors choose the models best suitable for the job (an audition might be required). Just respond to our email on time, show up to the audition and/or photo shoot and you’ll be published in no time.
