With the introduction of countless new television series and the renewal of many others, it can get a little tough narrowing your options down. Finding the time for even a few becomes a struggle amidst the classes, midterms, and extracurricular meetings. So, to avoid sifting through all the new ABC, CW, and other network’s “genius plot creations,” I’ve compiled a list of some of the highest rated and most entertaining shows of the Fall 2012 season.

The Last Resort
The crew of an American military submarine (featuring Andre Braugher, Scott Speedman, and Autumn Reeser) ignores orders to flatten Pakistan with a flock of nuclear missiles, and becomes a target of the U.S. itself in this new drama. The crew takes refuge at a tropical island and starts looking for ways to prove its innocence.
