Site Spotlight: I Like Your Jacket

Dec 09, 2010 1 Comment

“Your voice is more soothing than Morgan Freeman’s.” “You have ten of the best fingers I’ve ever seen!” “I named all my appliances after you.” All of these are compliments from an aspiring site called I Like Your Jacket, whose purpose is to shower visitors with uplifting user-submitted quotes every time they click a button.

Click the button. Feel better.

Solid-color backgrounds and white oversized text do not make for a very sophisticated layout, but they serve the site’s mission well. After all, happiness is simple, right?

Even so, I Like Your Jacket could definitely add in some more features, such as a “Like” function for people to click on and vote up their favorite compliments, and a corresponding link to showcase the best quotes.

And seeing how finals week is next (i.e. it could be a week before you start feeling normal again), visiting this site would not be a bad idea at all.
