When we picture nerds, we think glasses, braces, collared shirts, pants that never quite reach the ankles and a three-digit IQ.

The Caliber team stumbled across a website called NerdHaiku.com today.

Its tagline reads, “We are just three nerds ● Like to write haiku poems ● We do not get laid.”

We were instantly hooked. Most of the three-line stanzas center around the life of a video gamer – in which case, the site should have been named GeekHaiku, not NerdHaiku.

Regardless, NerdHaiku.com could be next in line in the revolution of popular literature (“pop lit”), which started with FML and MLIA.
