Prabh Kehal

Hellloooo awesome reader (for you must be awesome if you're reading my blog)! I'm Prabhdeep or Prabh, pronounced like problem or probability or other "Prabh" sounding words. I'm from Stevenson Ranch down in southern California. I'm studying Math and Rhetoric with a minor in Public Policy and I'm obsessed with coffee. Although I'm definitely not addicted, there is a certain love there that I cannot deny. I'm a vegetarian and I love reading books and spending money on books (even if I don't read them). And as a sidenote, I'm pretty sure I love Caliber.

Homeroom: (So Much More Than Just) Mac + Cheese

April 19, 2012 | | One Comment Cheese. Tons and tons of cheese – oh, and an alcohol bar (for all you 21 and over!). That pretty much sums up what I found at “homeroom: mac + cheese”. It’s located in Oakland but is a mere 20 minute drive down College for those of us lucky enough to have a car, or a bus pass. That may sound Read More

Midnight in Louisville, Kentucky

March 30, 2012 | Let’s brainstorm some of the best ways to spend spring break, shall we? There is sleeping, eating, sleeping, going on a trip out of the US, going on a cruise, some more eating, and then of course, sleeping. Oh, and maybe squeezing in some time to study for those midterms that are creeping up and some Read More

(An) Urbann Turbann (That You Can Eat)

March 15, 2012 | Despite the huge multi-cultural presence and how Berkeley is this huge melting pot of diversity, finding food that tastes like it was made in your mom’s (or dad’s) kitchen is an actual challenge on a college kid’s budget – especially if you’re looking for Indian food! This is precisely why Read More

(The Very Efficient) Toaster Oven

March 11, 2012 | There was a new store in the area and, naturally, I felt the need to try it out. Toaster Oven had been open for a while now but I always thought I was way too busy to venture out of my comfort zone (called Chipotle). But, that’s the great thing about Toaster Oven – it’s all about the speed. It’s Read More
